022 was created to bring some of Central New York to the scene. Popping up tiles or cemete pieces is just apart of skateboarding — Especially on the east coast. I really wanted something that I would enjoy skateboarding on in real life. I also wanted to keep the feel of real skateboarding by adding the NY State outline and border. The ⭐️ in the middle represents Utica’s exact location on the map. Highlighting where these are being made and where I’m from. These things gave it texture, when riding onto the piece, it really feels like a skate spot (that would ultimately make me upset) lol but that’s skateboarding! I also added screw holes so you can screw these bad boys to your desk or stick sticky tack the holes on marble surface!
When screwing into the holes, be careful! do not screw extra tight, make screw holes before attaching or you will make the mistake and crack this piece!
